Hampton Inn & Suites Milwaukee Downtown

Great and quiet place, I appreciated courteous personnel.

The breakfast was warm with yummy waffles, the food was excellent! The venue was set in the very central position near Fiserv Forum and even Summerfest.

The breakfast was hot with yummy waffles and the pool was great. The venue was in a very central location close to the downtown. Plus, main attraction such as The Great Barn was 3 km from this hotel.

Parking access can be more clearly communicated to reduce confusion !!! The decor feels dated and could use a thorough update!!!

The lobby had lots of excellent meals for breakfast.

The hotel is fairly clean and has separate rooms and exceptionally comfortable beds. It is fairly priced. The room is neat and updated with a magnificent view of the downtown. The location is unbeatable, not too far from Work. The restaurant serves hot local food.

The location of the hotel was super convenient to all the places we wanted to check out in milwaukee. The staff at the front desk was friendly and offered some good recommendations for local restaurants. Got some free snacks and water when we checked in, cool. The bedding was comfy, and the lobby area was nice and clean.

We showed up to find out the air conditioning was out and nobody bothered to tell us beforehand.

The staff was excellent. They listened well, made us feel valued, and addressed our concerns promptly and efficiently. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful and the seating area offered several choices. The location was excellent for attending a show at the Riverside Theater.

This is clearly a refurbished property. The toilet ran and needed its seat replaced (both brought up to the staff, so I hope it will be addressed). The air blower would not turn off in our room (so even though we set it to off, the temp was 59.) Maintenance came and fixed it by hand, but needed to come in our room at night and remove a ceiling grate to do so. This released dust into the air which was unpleasant. There was a nice desk chair, but no other chair in the room. We would have really liked to have an easy chair.

Cookies! They put out fresh baked cookies in the afternoon, plus there was always free coffee and tea available. Front Desk workers were great, and gave good advice on where to eat (Maders). Liked the pillowtop bed too. And everything was very clean.

Problem with panhandlers every time we'd step outside the hotel. They were pretty aggressive and it was intimidating. Otherwise the hotel was a good one and Milwaukee is a pretty city.

The room was clean and updated. I loved the hot breakfast, especially the waffles! The pool area was nice to unwind after exploring the area.

Felt totally at home, no complaints.

Very accommodating! Although we booked a king room through Booked.net that was not specified to the hotel by this 3rd party booking site. We were originally given a double. When I showed my confirmation from Booked.net they switched us to a room with 2 queens, since no kings available. Apparently since Booked.net only specifies smoking or non smoking not the room size you may not get the room you expect when using this "booking service" (Very lucrative business model for Booked.net to charge me for the king but not follow through with that with the hotel ) Luckily the hotel staff were understanding and gave us a more suitable room! Staff were helpful, courteous, and friendly! Rooms were clean and comfortable! Great location.

No ice maker on our floor

The hotel's location was fantastic. The check-in process was frustrating, with rooms not ready and maintenance issues like dirty bathrooms and elevator problems. Despite the shortcomings, the staff's friendliness did help improve the experience a bit.

check in was not very good person at desk told us we were all set with our room and when we returned a few hours later he was gone and new person said nothing was set up

The location was the best part! We could walk to restaurants along the river, and the room was spacious enough! Just beware of the noise from other guests at night 😅
